British-born comedian John Oliver is really \u201cnot a fan\u201d of the royal family.<\/p>\n
\u201cI think that the way they\u2019ve behaved over the years has been horrendous,\u201d he told Page Six at the Garden of Laughs event earlier this week at Radio City Music Hall.<\/p>\n
The \u201cLast Week Tonight with John Oliver\u201d host is particularly unimpressed by the former Prince Andrew, who had his title yanked away<\/a> earlier this year due to his ties to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.<\/p>\n John Oliver spoke to Page Six about the royal family at the \u201cGarden of Laughs\u201d event on April 14. Getty Images<\/p>\n When Page Six inquired where he thinks the disgraced royal will end up, Oliver mused, \u201cLong term? If I believed in hell, it would be there.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t know where he will end up. I had very little respect for that guy before all of this, so I don\u2019t know where he will end up, and to the marrow of my bones, I don\u2019t care!\u201d<\/p>\n Oliver, 48, doubts that there will be true \u201caccountability\u201d for Epstein victims, like Virginia Giuffre, who claimed that she had been forced to sleep with Andrew while still a minor. <\/p>\n Andrew, who has denied the claim, settled Giuffre\u2019s formal lawsuit <\/a>outside of the courtroom in 2022 for an estimated $12 million.<\/p>\n Oliver had particular scorn for disgraced former royal, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, seen here in 2025. Getty Images<\/p>\n However, he\u2019s pleased to see that Mountbatten-Windsor has undergone \u201cabject humiliation,\u201d<\/a> like being arrested on his 66th birthday<\/a>, and hopes it \u201ccarries for the rest of his life.\u201d<\/p>\n The Emmy winner was equally dismissive of Mountbatten-Windsor\u2019s former wife, Sarah Ferguson.<\/a><\/p>\n \u201cAgain, no idea, and I couldn\u2019t give a flying s\u2013t,\u201d he added with a laugh.<\/p>\n
