Model and presenter Vogue Williams has revealed she has suffered from \u201cpregnancy loss\u201d twice.<\/p>\n
The 40-year-old former Heart presenter said the first happened before the birth of daughter Gigi in 2020, and the second took place last year, while speaking on her What Does She Even Do? YouTube channel.<\/p>\n
Williams and her husband, former Made In Chelsea star Spencer Matthews, announced she was pregnant with the couple\u2019s fourth child on Thursday. The pair currently have three children in Gigi, Otto and Theodore.<\/p>\n
She said: \u201cTrigger warning, pregnancy loss, if anyone doesn\u2019t want to watch, don\u2019t.<\/p>\n
\u201cSo it happened to me before I had Gigi, not just me, it happened to Spencer as well obviously, and it was so early on, like so, so early on, we hadn\u2019t had any scans, we hadn\u2019t anything like that, and I must have been maybe a month, if even and it was just one of those things.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd it was awful but everything happened quite quickly after it as well, so I never really kind of thought about it much.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt was really upsetting at the time but then I was pregnant quite quickly after.<\/p>\n
\u201cBut it actually happened to me last year as well, and it was just, I was literally about to tell the kids\u2026 you could kind of start telling I was three months, I just didn\u2019t go for an early scan. I just never even thought about it because I kind of didn\u2019t want to make a fuss.\u201d<\/p>\n
Williams went on to say that she felt \u201cquite sick\u201d but \u201cnot as sick as I would usually feel during pregnancy\u201d, before discovering that \u201cbasically the embryo hadn\u2019t grown\u201d.<\/p>\n
She added: \u201cUsually you just naturally get a miscarriage, but I didn\u2019t, it just kept like it would have eventually happened, but it just didn\u2019t at the time, and I was three months along, and (the doctor) was just like, I\u2019m really sorry\u2026 it\u2019s not really a pregnancy.\u201d<\/p>\n
She said that the incidents had caused her to be \u201cnervous\u201d about her current pregnancy, and added that she was \u201cgrateful that I feel so sick all the time because then I know it\u2019s there\u201d.<\/p>\n
Williams said: \u201cI wasn\u2019t sure if we wanted to try again because I just felt like I really don\u2019t want to have to go through that again.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m glad we did, obviously, but now I just have this constant nervousness around hoping that everything is going to be all right.\u201d<\/p>\n
The Irish star announced her latest pregnancy with a picture of herself with Matthews, 37, pushing their stomachs together in beach attire, which showed her baby bump, on Instagram.<\/p>\n
The couple were married in June 2018 after they met the previous year during filming for Channel 4 programme The Jump.<\/p>\n
Williams was a late entry into last year\u2019s edition of ITV reality show I\u2019m A Celebrity\u2026 Get Me Out Of Here!, alongside Celebs Go Dating receptionist Tom Read Wilson, with the series eventually being won by YouTuber Angryginge.<\/p>\n
