{"id":407493,"date":"2026-04-20T00:56:08","date_gmt":"2026-04-20T00:56:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/407493\/"},"modified":"2026-04-20T00:56:08","modified_gmt":"2026-04-20T00:56:08","slug":"scarlett-faulkners-brother-found-dead-two-days-after-his-sisters-funeral","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/407493\/","title":{"rendered":"Scarlett Faulkner&#8217;s brother found dead two days after his sister\u2019s funeral"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Sympathies poured in for the family of the late Scarlett Faulkner, after her brother, Jason Faulkner, tragically passed away on Sunday, 48 hours after <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.irishexaminer.com\/news\/munster\/arid-41829227.html\">her funeral<\/a> was held.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">A 16-year-old girl and a 40-year-old woman are before the courts <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.irishexaminer.com\/news\/munster\/arid-41818370.html\">charged in connection<\/a> with the alleged attack on Ms Faulkner, on March 21 last.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Jason Faulkner, 30s, from Longpavement halting site, Limerick, was a pallbearer at his sister\u2019s funeral, held at St Munchin\u2019s Church, last Friday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Relatives and friends of Mr Faulkner shared messages on social media of their shock and sorrow at hearing of his death, and paid tributes to him.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">\u201cWhy god?
