{"id":408085,"date":"2026-04-20T10:37:13","date_gmt":"2026-04-20T10:37:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/408085\/"},"modified":"2026-04-20T10:37:13","modified_gmt":"2026-04-20T10:37:13","slug":"food-recall-the-ministry-of-chocolate-new-york-inspired-bar-recalled-due-to-presence-of-gluten","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/408085\/","title":{"rendered":"Food recall: The Ministry of Chocolate New York inspired bar recalled due to presence of gluten"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">The Ministry of Chocolate has alerted customers to an undeclared allergen in its chocolate.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">The confectionery company announced the recall via email and Instagram on Monday afternoon, warning that the New York Inspired bar contains undeclared gluten.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">\u201cAny consumers who have a gluten allergy or intolerance may have a reaction if the product is consumed,\u201d the statement read.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">The New York Inspired bar \u2014 which is milk chocolate with a peanut butter and jam filling \u2014 has been available for sale in independent food retailers in WA and New South Wales and independent retailers including IGA in Victoria.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">The Ministry of Chocolate advised customers who have a gluten allergy not to consume the chocolate bar, and return it to where they bought it.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">\u201cConsumers should return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund. Any consumers concerned about their health should seek medical advice,\u201d the statement said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">The Australian-owned brand is based in Croydon, Victoria.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The Ministry of Chocolate has alerted customers to an undeclared allergen in its chocolate.
