Coronation Street has fuelled a fan theory suggesting that Summer Spellman could turn murderous in the coming fortnight.<\/p>\n

Viewers are watching Summer closely as the ITV soap gears up for a shocking new killer mystery<\/a>, which will see one villain lose their life.<\/p>\n

Theo Silverton is among the five characters who could be about to die \u2013 and if the story does go this way, there’d be no shortage of suspects.<\/p>\n

In tonight’s episode, Theo targets Summer during a sinister visit to the corner shop. He even locks the door, hoping to intimidate Summer as they’re left alone together.<\/p>\n

Annoyed that Todd Grimshaw’s loved ones have been plotting his downfall, Theo tries to goad Summer, but she warns that she’s not to be messed with.<\/p>\n

“Confident \u2013 never seen this side to you before,” Theo notes. “Didn’t know you had it in you.”<\/p>\n

Summer ominously replies: “You have no idea what I’m capable of\u2026”<\/p>\n

Theo quips that it’s “always the quiet ones” \u2013 could the show be setting the stage for a more ruthless version of Summer? As she even gets physical with Theo in full view of the shop’s CCTV camera, the confrontation could look damning later on.<\/p>\n

Shortly afterwards, the show gives Summer another motive for wanting Theo gone as he threatens her life.<\/p>\n

Recalling how he left Billy Mayhew to die in the Corriedale crash<\/a>, Theo mocks: “You should have seen Billy’s face when he was pleading for his life. ‘Our father who art in heaven’. Pathetic, really.<\/p>\n

“Todd is mine. Don’t make me bury you, too.”<\/p>\n

Could Summer get rid of Theo to protect herself and Todd? Or could one of the other four characters<\/a> \u2013 Carl, Jodie, Maggie or Megan \u2013 be the mystery death?<\/p>\n

Coronation Street airs on weeknights at 8.30pm on ITV1 and streams on ITVX<\/a>.<\/p>\n
