<\/p>\nMet Eireann predicts a largely dry and bright period ahead, with temperatures reaching 19 degrees on Friday leading into an expected warm weekend<\/p>\n

Ireland enjoyed a mild start to the week, and by the end of it, we may see temperatures just shy of 20 degrees.<\/p>\n
Met Eireann<\/a> has predicted that Friday will get as warm as 19 degrees, and a warm weekend is expected.<\/a> Looking to the coming days, it will remain dry and bright for the most part. Cathal Nolan of Ireland’s Weather Channel <\/a>said things may get cooler towards the middle of the week, but remaining mostly dry, before lifting again by Friday.<\/p>\n There may be some showers on Tuesday and Wednesday. From Thursday, things will be “warming up” again.<\/p>\n “Chance of showers here on Tuesday and Wednesday but dry for the remainder of the country. The odd showers still possible on the East Coast but everywhere else it is a dry bright picture. Some sunny spells breaking through but as we mentioned more cloud on Tuesday, Wednesday but still holding dry,” he said.<\/p>\n “Feeling cooler however with fresh winds coming from the east or southeasterly direction. That’s before we see things warming up from Thursday onwards as high pressure centres itself closer to Ireland.”<\/p>\n “We see plenty of sunshine, temperatures will get up into the mid or high teens and indeed a very pleasant weekend is forecast as well for the coming weekend so overall very dry picture this week, some showers initially in the southwest and the odd shower along the east coast. Cloudier conditions on Tuesday and Wednesday generally speaking but still some sunshine about, and then from Thursday onwards it brightens up.”<\/p>\n Here is Met Eireann’s<\/a> forecast for the coming days:<\/p>\n Tuesday, April 21<\/p>\n The day will be breezy as easterly winds increase to moderate or fresh. Conditions remain largely dry with sunny spells and only isolated light showers, though the southwest will experience cloudier periods at times. Daytime temperatures will reach highs of 10 to 13 degrees. Overnight, the weather<\/a> stays dry with long clear spells and lows of 3 to 7 degrees.<\/p>\n Wednesday, April 22<\/p>\n Most areas will remain dry with sunny spells, while the southwest continues to be cloudier with a few light showers. Moderate to fresh easterly winds will persist throughout the day. Highest temperatures are expected to range from 11 to 14 degrees. During the night, temperatures will dip to between 5 and 9 degrees, though it may be slightly cooler in parts of Ulster.<\/p>\n Thursday, April 23<\/p>\n A dry and sunny day is forecast for the majority of the country, with only a minimal chance of a stray shower. There will be a noticeable temperature split, with highs of 11 degrees in the east and warmer peaks of 15 to 16 degrees in the west. Moderate east to southeast winds will begin to ease as the evening progresses.<\/p>\n Friday, April 24<\/p>\n The dry and sunny trend continues for most regions. It will feel significantly warmer as temperatures generally rise to between 15 and 19 degrees. Winds will be mostly light and southeasterly, though eastern and southern coastal areas will stay a bit cooler where the breezes remain more moderate.<\/p>\n The Weekend<\/p>\n The settled weather pattern holds firm through Saturday and Sunday. The outlook remains mostly dry with plenty of sunshine across the country.
