Kilkenny Minors secure their spot in the Minor A All-Ireland Final.<\/p>\n
Kilkenny made the better start and put the pressure on from the throw in. Ona Kennedy dropped in a free which was batted out resulting in a 45, Ona wasn\u2019t taking any second chances this time and pointed her first free of the game.\u00a0 Points from Amy O\u2019Shea and Emily Phelan followed.\u00a0 Emily subjected to pulling and dragging was awarded a free in which Ona Kennedy pointed her second free of the game.\u00a0 It was not till the 11th minute when Corks Lexi Manley pointed her first free of the game.\u00a0 Kilkenny\u2019s hard-working Shauna Mahony added a point to the scoreboard before Corks Lea Meillouin added their second point and last score of the first half in the 16th minute.\u00a0 Unanswered points from Kilkenny\u2019s Hollie Ryan (3), Ona Kennedy (2f), Amy O\u2019Shea and Shauna Mahony left Kilkenny in a very good position at the half time whistle.<\/p>\n

Corks Orla Troy tapped her first point over the bar followed by three frees in a row from Lexi Manley.\u00a0 Kilkenny and Cork were back and forth with points from O. Kennedy (f), L. Manley, O. Lea Meillouin and Orla Troy added their second points before Lexi Manley added another point to her overall tally.\u00a0 The last score of the game came from Kilkenny\u2019s Ona Kennedy as she accurately pointed her seventh free.<\/p>\n
