Madonna has said the vintage costume she wore at Coachella has gone missing and has appealed for its \u201csafe return\u201d.<\/p>\n
The Like A Virgin singer joined popstar Sabrina Carpenter on stage on Friday for her second weekend headline slot at the music festival in California, where she wore a vintage purple corset dress.<\/p>\n
The piece has since gone missing, and the singer posted on her Instagram story offering a reward for the pieces, including a jacket, corset and dress, to be returned.<\/p>\n
It comes after the singer announced the sequel to her Confessions On A Dancefloor album will be released on July 3.<\/p>\n
She wrote: \u201cStill flying high since Friday night at Coachella!<\/p>\n
\u201cThank you to Sabrina and everyone who made it possible.<\/p>\n
\u201cBringing Confessions II back to where it began was such a thrill.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis full circle moment hit different until I discovered that the vintage pieces that I wore went missing \u2013 my costume that was pulled from my personal archives \u2013 jacket, corset, dress and all other garments.<\/p>\n
\u201cThese aren\u2019t just clothes, they are part of my history. Other archival items from the same era went missing as well.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m hoping and praying that some kind soul will find these items and reach out to my team.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m offering a reward for their safe return. Thank you with all my heart.\u201d<\/p>\n
The pair performed songs including Madonna\u2019s hits Vogue and Like A Prayer, along with a new song reportedly from the 67-year-old\u2019s upcoming album Confessions II, during Friday\u2019s set at the festival in California.<\/p>\n
It will be her 15th studio album, and follows the Grammy-winning 2005 album, known for its nightclub music and hits such as Sorry and Hung Up.<\/p>\n
Madonna launched her career in the 1980s and has won a number of accolades including seven Grammys and two Brit awards.<\/p>\n
