READING, Pa. \u2013 One of the stars of the hit show, \u201cShark Tank,\u201d is pitching the importance of entrepreneurship and manufacturing in Reading.<\/p>\n
Businessman, investor and TV personalty Robert Herjavec took part in a meet-and-greet and spoke to a crowd Tuesday at Reading Area Community College.<\/p>\n
He was in town to help the school celebrate the 20th anniversity of the Schmidt Training and Technology Center.<\/p>\n
\u201cI love speaking to students. I love speaking to faculty. I love seeing environments like this,\u201d Herjavec said.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou know, everybody today thinks you need AI and fancy degrees and all of this stuff,\u201d he said. \u201cMy dad was a blue collar maintenance mechanic, and this is all very familiar to me. You can make a great life learning very mechanical, tactical skills.\u201d<\/p>\n
