Darrell Sheets\u2019 \u201cStorage Wars\u201d rival Brandi Passante shared an emotional tribute to him following his tragic death.<\/a><\/p>\n

The reality star died from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head, according to the Lake Havasu Police Department. He was 67 years old.<\/p>\n

Passante, who competed against Sheets on \u201cStorage Wars,\u201d posted pictures of the two together over the years on Instagram<\/a> Wednesday.<\/p>\n

In the first pic in the carousel, Passante smiles as Sheets playfully points at her. Passante said she had known Sheets for many years and was now \u201cat a loss for words.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m just so very sorry, to hear the circumstances of his passing,\u201d she wrote. <\/p>\n

\u201cMy heart hurts for Brandon, Zoe, and Kimber,\u201d she continued, referring to Sheets\u2019 wife, Kimber, son Brandon and his granddaughter, Zoie. \u201cI unfortunately lost a parent and a brother to similar situations.\u201d<\/p>\n

Passante shared resources for those dealing with mental health issues.<\/p>\n

\u201cI would like to say to everyone, if you are struggling, if you feel hopeless or like no one cares. I assure you they do!! You are not alone,\u201d she wrote.<\/p>\n

Passante, 45, has been on A&E\u2019s \u201cStorage Wars\u201d since its first season, which premiered in 2010. <\/p>\n

Sheets was on the long-running reality show \u2014 which follows professional buyers who bid on repossessed, abandoned storage units in California \u2014 from 2010 until 2023.<\/p>\n

Fellow \u201cStorage Wars\u201d star Rene Nezhoda said in an Instagram video Wednesday that he believed cyberbullying played a part in Sheets\u2019 death.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cHe had this guy, like, really, really tormenting him lately and cyberbullying [him],\u201d Nezhoda\u00a0stated.<\/p>\n

\u201cDarrell has been posting a lot about the guy that\u2019s been cyberbullying him and tormenting him, and I really hope [law enforcement] look into that guy and it\u2019s just not a pass,\u201d he continued.<\/p>\n

Sergeant Kyle Ridgway, public information officer for the Lake Havasu City Police Department, told Page Six, \u201cWe are aware of these cyberbullying accusations and that is a part of the active investigation.\u201d<\/p>\n
