Netflix\u2019s \u201cKPop Demon Hunters<\/a>\u201d has been a runaway hit since its late June premiere. Netflix<\/a> reports it as the most-watched animated film in the platform\u2019s history and its most popular English-language film, racking up over 236 million views.<\/p>\n

The film\u2019s success isn\u2019t just on screen \u2014 its soundtrack is dominating the charts. In late August, four songs from the album simultaneously charted in the Billboard Hot 100<\/a> top 10, \u201cthe first time that has happened for any soundtrack album in the history of the Hot 100,\u201d as reported by Variety<\/a>. <\/p>\n

The album continues to break records, particularly the hit song \u201cGolden,\u201d which has now held the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100<\/a> for six consecutive weeks, making it the Hot 100\u2019s longest-leading hit by an animated group in its 67-year history. This streak makes it the longest-leading movie soundtrack of the decade, surpassing the \u201cEncanto\u201d hit \u201cWe Don\u2019t Talk About Bruno,\u201d which set the record in 2022, per Billboard<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The last soundtrack to dominate the Hot 100 for so long was Wiz Khalifa\u2019s \u201cSee You Again\u201d featuring Charlie Puth from \u201cFast & Furious 7,\u201d which spent 12 weeks at No. 1 in 2015.<\/p>\n
