The 35-year-old from Ballymahon, Co Longford, has been announced as a celebrity contestant on the 35th season of the major American show.<\/p>\n
She was announced by Hulu during the Get Real House event in Los Angeles on Wednesday.<\/p>\n
“A brand new bombshell is entering the ballroom,\u201d said one of the DWTS hosts Alfonso Ribeiro during the Hulu event.<\/p>\n
Speaking to the US outlet Bustle after the announcement, she said it was a \u201csurreal moment\u201d when she found out about the opportunity.<\/p>\n
“I was actually going through New York airport, JFK, I got the call from my American agent, and I froze in the middle of the airport. I was just [in] tears.<\/p>\n
\u201cI couldn\u2019t walk, I couldn\u2019t speak. It just felt like a surreal moment because I wanted it so bad for so long, and it was the only other show that I wanted to do as a contestant.<\/p>\n
\u201cAfter DWTS, I think I\u2019m probably done. I mean, never say never, because I don\u2019t wanna be that person but it\u2019s the only other show on my vision board contestant-wise,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n

She gained prominence by starring on the fourth season of Love Island UK before appearing on The Traitors US season four.<\/p>\n
The reality star, who has amassed 4.3 million followers on her Instagram, made it to the final of The Traitors as a faithful and finished as a runner-up.<\/p>\n
