Scarlett Moffatt said she was \u201cgutted\u201d to leave the show (PA)<\/p>\nScarlett Moffat said she was \u201cgutted\u201d to become the latest star to be evicted from I\u2019m A Celebrity\u2026 South Africa \u2013 just a day before the final.<\/p>\n
The Gogglebox star learnt she would be leaving the ITV programme after she came last in a trial, telling hosts Ant and Dec: \u201cI felt like I was so close. I was the last girl standing.\u201d<\/p>\n
Moffat\u2019s eviction means the four celebrities who have made it to Friday night\u2019s final are Olympian Mo Farah, former football manager Harry Redknapp, actor and DJ Craig Charles, and actor Adam Thomas.<\/p>\n
The four men will compete for the chance to be named the \u201cultimate legend 2026\u201d.<\/p>\n
Speaking to Ant and Dec after leaving the camp, Moffatt said she had found the spin-off show in South Africa tougher than when she took part in the 16th series of the original show in 2016 and was crowned Queen Of The Jungle.<\/p>\n
\u201cJust the trials. Who comes up with these? They\u2019re sickos,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
Asked why she returned, she said: \u201cThis show honestly means everything to us.\u201d<\/p>\n
She told fellow Geordies Ant and Dec: \u201cI just feel like growing up, I watched you two on SMTV Live, and hearing your accent made me feel like, if I wanted to do it, then I could, because of you. It means a lot.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019ve really, really had the best time.\u201d<\/p>\n
Questioned about how she found her fellow campmates, she said: \u201cWe\u2019re all as mad as a box of frogs, aren\u2019t we?<\/p>\n
\u201cI just feel like everyone\u2019s eccentrically wonderful.\u201d<\/p>\n

Asked who she would like to see win, she said: \u201cPlease Mo. He is just the most wonderful human being. There\u2019s not a bad bone in his body.\u201d<\/p>\n
The challenge saw the celebrities have to count coloured balls as they rolled down a tube in front of them while they were showered with maggots, cockroaches, crickets and mealworms.<\/p>\n
The five contestants were then asked how many blue balls there had been and were told that whoever\u2019s estimate was the furthest from the correct figure would be evicted.<\/p>\n
Thursday night\u2019s episode also saw the celebrities take part in the Cyclone challenge, which saw them have to clamber along a water slide to reach stars while being pelted with huge balls and sprayed with high-pressure hoses.<\/p>\n
The group won the task, which resulted in them all receiving phone messages from their loved ones at home.<\/p>\n
They also enjoyed a breakfast of 10 eggs between them after successfully catching them from a large \u201cchicken\u201d roosting in a tree above their camp.<\/p>\n
