In all our years of marriage, I have never been tempted to inspect my wife\u2019s phone or inquire too closely into her private correspondence.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall \">However, I must confess to a new and unfamiliar unease. My wife now appears to be in regular consultation with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.irishtimes.com\/tags\/chatgpt\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.irishtimes.com\/tags\/chatgpt\/\">ChatGPT<\/a>. It is referred to frequently, spoken of with a certain respect, and relied upon for advice on matters where once I might have been considered adequate.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall \">I find myself wondering what exactly is being discussed. Is it offering superior counsel? Does it listen without interrupting?
