Former footballer Bullard was partnered with actor Thomas for a pivotal trial in which the losing duo would be sent home from the ITV<\/a> reality show. Despite Thomas throwing himself into the challenge, Bullard almost immediately abstained from taking part, telling hosts Ant and Dec<\/a>: \u201cI just don\u2019t have it in me.\u201d<\/p>\n Thomas angrily confronted Bullard<\/a>, shouting: \u201cYou\u2019re taking the p***!\u201d before telling him he should have left the show after the trial instead of prematurely ending his time on the show also. Almost eight months after the series was filmed, they are reportedly not on speaking terms.<\/p>\n Speaking to the cameras after exiting the show, Bullard addressed the \u201ckerfuffle\u201d, stating: \u201cLetting Adam down\u2019s a killer. He\u2019s my boy, you know? From day dot, we had the craic. He wants to do well, and I get it.\u201d<\/p>\n Bullard, who said he \u201cstruggled\u201d with how hard he found the show, said his decision to use the opportunity to leave stemmed in part from wanting to be with his parents.<\/p>\n \u201cI thought we were going in for stars for the camp to eat, but then they leave the door open where you could say \u2018I\u2019m a celebrity… get me out of here\u2019 and go home \u2013 I got my mum and dad at home, the dad ain\u2019t too well, so that comes in.\u201d<\/p>\n He added that, despite people thinking he\u2019s outgoing and a wind-up, that \u201cdoesn\u2019t necessarily mean you\u2019re ready for them trials and stuff\u201d.<\/p>\n \u201cI lost David Haye, Gemma [Collins], they were my big bounces, I\u2019d say. You could bounce off of them. Unfortunately, my time was up in the game.\u201d<\/p>\n After realising Bullard was quitting the show on their behalf, Thomas said: \u201cYou\u2019re joking me bro. Jim, come on, man. Don\u2019t do this bro! Is that how we\u2019re going out, yeah?\u201d<\/p>\n However, despite Ant and Dec encouraging Bullard to continue for Thomas\u2019s sake, he remained adamant, stating: \u201cI\u2019ve had enough. Sorry, boys and girls.\u201d<\/p>\n Thomas stormed up to Bullard, asking: \u201cWhat\u2019s up with you, bro? If you wanted to go, go \u2013\u00a0don\u2019t take me with you. Go home in camp, don\u2019t do it on my f**ing watch.\u201d Bullard told him: \u201cI choose when I come and when I go.\u201d<\/p>\n Because Bullard did not complete any of the trial, Ant and Dec intervened, allowing campmates to vote for whether they would let Thomas remain on the show.
