Morgan Rogers has been linked with a move to Liverpool for a while now amid his brilliant stint with Aston Villa.<\/p>\n

Reports earlier this month claimed the Reds were ready to come to the table for Rogers<\/a>, with the former Middlesbrough man also having interest from Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal.<\/p>\n

A Villa Park exit for the Englishman could still be on the cards this summer, but a move to Anfield now looks less likely with Liverpool\u2019s<\/a> interest appearing to have cooled.<\/p>\n

Rogers<\/a> is expected to cost a lot if and when he secures a transfer, with the Telegraph<\/a> previously saying a \u2018near-\u00a3100m\u2019 fee will be needed to get a deal done.<\/p>\n

Whether that is what has put the Merseyside outfit off a deal or not remains to be seen, but they are no longer thought to be as active in their pursuit of the Aston Villa star.<\/p>\n

Instead, Ben Jacobs has reported on X\/Twitter<\/a> that Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea and PSG are the teams still looking at the player.<\/p>\n

He stated: \u201cManchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea and PSG are the most genuine suitors for Morgan Rogers. <\/p>\n

\u201cLiverpool and Bayern not as active as of now. Understand Rogers is just as open to a move abroad as staying in England and has admiration for Luis Enrique.\u201d<\/p>\n

Liverpool target wide option<\/p>\n

While Rogers is a capable winger, he is more suited to a central role, which is an area Liverpool are already covered in thanks to Florian Wirtz and Dominik Szoboszlai.<\/p>\n

Signing a player like the Englishman wouldn\u2019t make sense as a result, as the Reds can\u2019t really fit Wirtz and Rogers into the same XI on a consistent basis.<\/p>\n

Instead, a pacey winger should be targeted, and that is seemingly what those in a position of power at Anfield are looking at.<\/p>\n

Rafael Leao is eyed in a cut-price deal<\/a>, with Fabrizio Romano recently saying that Premier League clubs are interested<\/a> and have called about the AC Milan winger.<\/p>\n
