The partnership builds on joint work at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC) and will now extend to Qilimanjaro\u2019s Hybrid Quantum Data Center in Barcelona, scheduled to open this November.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hpcwire.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Qilimanjaro-Qblox.png\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-183748\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Qilimanjaro-Qblox-300x206.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"155\"  \/><\/a>Qilimanjaro\u2019s vision is to build hybrid quantum computers that combine the company\u2019s signature analog processors with digital ones based on European superconducting technology. Qilimanjaro\u2019s quantum computers and Qblox\u2019s advanced control stacks come together to enable scalable, reliable systems available via cloud services and on-premise HPC integration. Together, these technologies will be implemented in Qilimanjaro\u2019s Hybrid Quantum Data Center and offered as a cloud service. This will be the first time analog quantum computers and digital superconducting quantum computers are available under one platform and software environment.<\/p>\n<p>Qilimanjaro and Qblox have been collaborating on quantum computer integration at BSC for some time. Qilimanjaro has led the integration of superconducting quantum systems at the HPC center alongside MareNostrum 5, one of the world\u2019s most powerful supercomputers. Two digital quantum computers are operational as a result of the Quantum Spain initiative, and work is now underway on an analog quantum computer as part of the EuroQCS-Spain project.
