\n\tMegan Thee Stallion<\/a> and Klay Thompson have called it quits. The rapper confirmed their split Saturday (April 25), shortly after alleging Thompson cheated in a message posted earlier via Instagram Stories<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI\u2019ve made the decision to end my relationship with Klay,\u201d Megan said in a statement obtained by Billboard. \u201cTrust, fidelity and respect are non-negotiable for me in a relationship, and when those values are compromised, there\u2019s no real path forward. I\u2019m taking this time to prioritize myself and move ahead with peace and clarity.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tAn Instagram Stories update, which is a temporary post, on Megan\u2019s account first addressed her breakup with the NBA player on Saturday.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cCheating, had me around your whole family playing house\u2026 got \u2018cold feet,’\u201d the block of text read. \u201cHolding you down through all your HORRIBLE mood swings and treatment towards me during your basketball season now you don\u2019t know if you can be \u2018monogamous\u2019????\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tShe closed the post with \u201cb\u2014- I need a REAL break after this one .. by yall.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe music artist, who\u2019s performing in Broadway\u2019s Moulin Rouge! through mid-May, and the Dallas Mavericks shooting guard\u00a0started dating in summer 2025 \u2014 with Meg once recalling<\/a> their first time connecting as \u201ca meet cute\u201d and once describing her former beau as \u201cthe nicest person I\u2019ve ever met in my life.\u201d They had\u00a0their red carpet debut<\/a>\u00a0in New York City that July.<\/p>\n

\n\tBy Thanksgiving, Thompson had named his boat<\/a> after his girlfriend (\u201cSS Stallion\u201d), and the couple had spent a holiday together with Thompson\u2019s family. <\/p>\n

\n\tIn February 2026, Meg quipped that she was \u201cmanifesting my engagement\u201d (presumably to Klay) in a video clip<\/a> filmed in Milan with Olympic athletes Brittany Bowe and Hilary Knight, who are engaged.<\/p>\n
