While the enchanting and haunting voice of Clannad can never possibly be replaced or even equalled those of us who were privileged to have met her socially and in her professional capacity will all agree that she was an exceptional human being as well as being an extremely talented, beautiful lady.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>My first recollection of Clannad back in 1971 was that of hearing a quite unique folk group that was already ahead of its time in the midst of the then traditional folk music revival.
