A woman has died following a single-vehicle collision in Knocklyon, Co Dublin, on Sunday morning.<\/p>\n
The incident occurred in a car park on Idrone Avenue at 10.55 am.<\/p>\n
A passenger in the car, a woman in her 80s, was pronounced deceased at the scene.<\/p>\n
The driver of the car, a man aged in his 80s, was taken to Tallaght Hospital to be treated for injuries believed to be non-life-threatening.<\/p>\n
No other injuries have been reported.<\/p>\n
The scene was held for technical examination by Forensic Collision investigators and has since been lifted.<\/p>\n
Garda\u00ed are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward.<\/p>\n
Witnesses who may have camera footage, including dash-cam footage and were in the area between 10:45am and 11:15 am are asked to make this available to investigating garda\u00ed.<\/p>\n
