Stephen Welsh celebrates after Motherwell’s win over Rangers<\/p>\n

Motherwell’s ecstatic Celtic loanee Stephen Welsh<\/a> couldn’t contain his joy after the Steelmen stunned Rangers at Ibrox.<\/p>\n

Danny Rohl’s men battled back from 2-0 down to level the showdown<\/a> at Ibrox, before and injury-time winner from Emmanuel Longelo dealt a major blow to the Light Blues’ title hopes.<\/p>\n

Jens Berthel Askou<\/a>‘s men ended a five-game winless streak in Glasgow as they boosted their hopes of snagging a European spot – while offered a boost to Rangers<\/a> title rivals.<\/p>\n

The Hoops – Welsh’s parent club – won their game against Falkirk on Saturday to move joint top of the Premiership table with Hearts, who were trailing Edinburgh rivals Hibs 1-0 at Easter Road when the full-time whistle sounded at Ibrox.<\/p>\n

Rangers sit in third spot, a point off the top of the table, with four games remaining and trips to Tynecastle and Celtic Park coming up before the league concludes.<\/p>\n

And Motherwell’s behind the scenes footage shows centre-back Welsh lapping up the celebrations on his way back to the dressing room.<\/p>\n

He could be heard screaming “yaaassssss” as he clenched his and lapped up the moment in the Ibrox corridor.<\/p>\n
