<\/p>\nAlice and Steve, a brand-new comedy-drama with Nicola Walker (The Split, Unforgotten) and Jemaine Clement (Flight of the Conchords), has confirmed its release date on Disney+ \u2013 and fans won’t have long to wait, as it’s set to drop in June. <\/p>\n
The series has previously been described by the streamer as “outrageously witty”, with the friends-to-foes relationship between the titular characters of Alice and Steve at the centre of its story. The official synopsis reads: “Alice (Walker) is devastated when her best friend Steve (Clement) starts dating her 26-year-old daughter Izzy (Topol Margalith). She\u2019s going to lose her best friend and her daughter in one fell swoop. <\/p>\n
“Alice tries everything she can to end the relationship. Unfortunately for her, Steve\u2019s more than ready for the attack, and what begins as a perfect friendship, devolves into an all-out feud.”<\/p>\n
