While the word tablet has become synonymous with the iPad in recent years, there are still a couple of Android alternatives. TCL\u2019s Nxtpaper 14 is one of the best Android tablets you can get, and it\u2019s currently on sale for $329.99 ($140 off)\u00a0at Amazon<\/a>. The deal is only available for the rest of today, bringing the tablet back down to its lowest price of the year and within $30 of its all-time low.<\/p>\n

The Nxtpaper 14\u2019s most impressive feature is its 60Hz 14.3-inch 2.4K LCD display. The screen has an antireflective coating to reduce glare from the sun or overhead lights, and a treatment to help reduce its blue light output, which can make using it easier on your eyes. You can adjust the screen to mimic the look of color paper or ink paper \u2014 a feature that comes in handy if you\u2019re using it to read books with lots of color imagery, or working on spreadsheets or documents, respectively.<\/p>\n

The tablet is equipped with 256GB of storage and 8GB of RAM (Memory), so you should be able to run Android apps without a hitch. Gaming performance will vary by title, and you may notice some slowdown if you run two resource-intensive apps side by side. If you want to use the tablet for productivity, you can wirelessly connect it to a laptop running Windows 10 or later and use it as a second screen.<\/p>\n

TCL includes a T-Pen Stylus with 4096 pressure levels and the Nxtpaper 14, so you can use the tablet as a sketch pad. You can also use the stylus to navigate around the tablet\u2019s interface, write, or work within apps. The tablet also comes with a case that protects its front and back and has ridges that let you prop it up as a stand. The stand feature comes in handy when you want to watch videos on a flight or want to comfortably jot down notes.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Nxtpaper<\/a> has a triple-camera system comprising a 13-megapixel and a 5-megapixel lens on the front, and an 8-megapixel camera on the back. All three lenses can record 1080P video. TCL also equipped the tablet with a four-speaker audio system, so you won\u2019t need to pair it with a Bluetooth speaker to get clean sound. That hardware makes the Nxtpaper a fine choice for keeping in touch with friends and family over Zoom and for using the tablet as your primary entertainment device when you\u2019re away from your desk.\u00a0<\/p>\n

If you\u2019re fully invested in Android, TCL\u2019s Nxtpaper 14 is a very well-specced tablet for productivity, creative work, and enjoying movies, music, or books. It\u2019s also an excellent value, especially when you factor in the two accessories TCL bundles with the tablet.
