Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, also known as the Russo Brothers, the movie will be released in United States theaters later this year. The sequel, <a data-yga=\"{\" ylinkelement=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.superherohype.com\/tag\/avengers-secret-wars\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"elm:link;elmt:article_link;slk:Avengers: Secret Wars;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">Avengers: Secret Wars<\/a>, then follows in 2027.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">So far, <a data-yga=\"{\" ylinkelement=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.superherohype.com\/tag\/marvel\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"elm:link;elmt:article_link;slk:Marvel;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">Marvel<\/a> has released four Avengers: Doomsday teaser trailers. The first teaser revealed that Chris Evans\u2019 Steve Rogers is officially returning to the MCU, while the second focused on Chris Hemsworth\u2019s Thor and the third on a handful of X-Men characters. The fourth and final teaser then put the spotlight on Letitia Wright\u2019s Black Panther\/Shuri, Ebon Moss-Bachrach\u2019s Ben Grimm\/The Thing, and more. There was also an Avengers: Doomsday trailer that was shown at CinemaCon, though this footage has not been shared online.<\/p>\n<p>Who has seemingly joined the Avengers: Doomsday cast?<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Per <a data-yga=\"{\" ylinkelement=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DXpZsC_EweD?img_index=2\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"elm:link;elmt:article_link;slk:Cinema Hub;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">Cinema Hub<\/a>, <a data-yga=\"{\" ylinkelement=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.superherohype.com\/tag\/andy-serkis\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"elm:link;elmt:article_link;slk:Andy Serkis;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">Andy Serkis<\/a> and <a data-yga=\"{\" ylinkelement=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.superherohype.com\/tag\/iman-vellani\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"elm:link;elmt:article_link;slk:Iman Vellani;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">Iman Vellani<\/a> were recently doing press for Animal Farm. The new animated movie is directed by Serkis, who also voices a handful of characters in the project, while Vellani voices two piglets named Puff and Tammy.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">At one point, Vellani notes that she\u2019s excited to see The Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum, which is being directed by Serkis and is currently dated for 2027. In response, Serkis said that he\u2019s excited to see Vellani in Avengers: Doomsday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">\u201cNo, you can\u2019t say that,\u201d Vellani said while laughing.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">\u201cOh, I can\u2019t? Well, if there should ever be the chance to see you in a film like Doomsday,\u201d Serkis said in response.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">It\u2019s important to note that Marvel has not confirmed that Vellani will be returning as <a data-yga=\"{\" ylinkelement=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.superherohype.com\/tag\/ms-marvel\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"elm:link;elmt:article_link;slk:Ms. Marvel;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">Ms. Marvel<\/a>\/Kamala Khan in Avengers: Doomsday or Avengers: Secret Wars. Serkis\u2019 comment sure makes it seem like she will be, however, as there have also been a number of rumors about Kamala and the Young Avengers having a role in both\/either of the upcoming Avengers movies. Additionally, it\u2019s also worth noting that Serkis previously starred in an Avengers movie, Avengers: Age of Ultron.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Avengers: Doomsday arrives on December 18, 2026.
