EXCLUSIVE: Katie Price’s husband Lee Andrews claimed he made secret trips to the UK and met her children, but sources have denied the claims as her family prepares to challenge him<\/p>\n

Katie Price\u2019s<\/a> new husband\u2019s claims that he has met her children have led to confusion and anger, with the star\u2019s family ready to confront him when \u2013 or rather if \u2013 he finally visits the UK.<\/a><\/p>\n

Last week, Lee Andrews stated he has made secret trips to Britain<\/a> and spent time with Katie\u2019s three eldest children. In a voice note to a newspaper, the Dubai-based businessman said, \u201cPeople don\u2019t know I\u2019ve met Harvey and two of the kids. I haven\u2019t seen the young ones.\u201d<\/p>\n

He went on, \u201cI\u2019ve been back and forth, I just don\u2019t f**king tell anyone. I lead a very private life. I tell people what they want to hear, the rest they can make up, you know.\u201d<\/p>\n

Reps have confirmed that Lee has not met Katie’s family just yet<\/p>\n

But in an embarrassing blow, a representative for Katie, 47, denied the claims, while a source close to her children, Junior and Princess, who she shares with ex-husband Peter Andre<\/a>, said they have never met Lee, 43, in person.<\/a><\/p>\n

Now, a source close to Katie \u2013 who is currently back in the UK \u2013 tells n ew the star is growing \u201cfrustrated\u201d with having to defend Lee, while her family are said to be preparing to give him a grilling should they finally come face-to-face.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cHer mum and her sister are very protective and won\u2019t pull any punches. Her family have had enough,\u201d claims our source. \u201cThey are keen to challenge him on things he has said and there will definitely be some kind of showdown. If her family and friends were to meet him in person, they would have something to say. They just want the best for Katie and they are so scared that he isn\u2019t right for her, and she will get hurt.\u201d<\/p>\n

Earlier this month Lee, who married Katie in January after a whirlwind 10-day romance<\/a>, claimed he will move to the UK in May \u2013 despite reports he is currently subject to a travel ban after spending three weeks in jail last year for allegedly obtaining funds by deception.<\/p>\n

Although Lee has denied he\u2019s forbidden from leaving the UAE, during the latest episode of her podcast, The Katie Price Show , Katie suggested a ban was in place, saying, \u201cyou can get a travel ban over anything in Dubai \u2013 a parking ticket, or if you owe a bill for electricity or something\u201d.<\/p>\n

She also appeared to do a dramatic U-turn over plans to move permanently into the \u00a336 million Dubai home Lee claims he \u201cbought with cash\u201d.<\/p>\n

Vowing to prioritise family over her new marriage<\/a>, she said in a now-deleted YouTube<\/a> video, \u201cI don\u2019t know why people think I\u2019m moving. My family\u2019s here. The husband is there, but the husband [can] come here and I can go to Dubai.\u201d<\/p>\n

She also sounded reluctant to leave her animals, saying she needed to \u201cre-evaluate my life a little bit and just have a little think about everything\u201d.<\/p>\n

According to our source, Katie\u2019s sudden decision to stay in the UK is telling.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cKatie is getting a little frustrated with Lee,\u201d claims our source. \u201cHe says he\u2019s seen the kids and yes, he\u2019s seen them via Zoom and FaceTime. But he hasn\u2019t seen them physically because he\u2019s not able to come over. He has said he is coming to the UK in May, but people don\u2019t believe he will.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, her loved ones are still deeply concerned about Lee\u2019s true intentions and<\/a>, claims our source, will fight to protect Katie.<\/p>\n

Although our source says Katie is \u201cstill in love\u201d with Lee, things aren\u2019t quite as rosy as they were just a few weeks ago.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe honeymoon period is over,\u201d claims our source. \u201cShe\u2019s getting frustrated that he can\u2019t come over. She\u2019s said [to Lee] her home is here, her family is here, Harvey is here. She can\u2019t just abandon him.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s said he can travel, but he\u2019s said a lot of things and she\u2019s getting sick and tired of having to defend him.<\/p>\n

They added, \u201cThe cracks are starting to show.\u201d<\/p>\n

Within days of Katie and Lee\u2019s quickie wedding, the mum-of-five was bombarded with claims the self-proclaimed multi-millionaire is not all he seems.<\/p>\n

His ex-fianc\u00e9e Alana Percival, who said Lee proposed to her the previous year in exactly the same venue as he did with Katie, famously told her to \u201crun for the hills\u201d.<\/p>\n

He further claimed to have met Kim Kardashian<\/a> and worked with her mother, Kris Jenner, but Kim\u2019s team denied this.<\/p>\n

Whatever the truth regarding Lee\u2019s proposed move to the UK, Katie appears conflicted as she struggles to choose between her family and her new husband.<\/p>\n
