\n\tDuran Duran<\/a> and Nile Rodgers<\/a> joined forces to perform their new single, \u201cFree To Love,\u201d<\/a> on Jimmy Kimmel Live<\/a>. The musicians created a party atmosphere on the late-night stage, complete with back-up singers, disco-inspired visuals, and rainbow and unicorn imagery. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cFree To Love,\u201d released earlier this month, is Duran Duran\u2019s first new music of 2026. The upbeat track marks the latest in the band\u2019s long line of collaborations with Rodgers that first began with a remix of the band\u2019s 1984 track \u201cThe Reflex,\u201d the group\u2019s first song to top the Billboard Hot 100.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cEvery time we plug in and play with Nile, the electricity he generates could light up a whole city. We share a common belief that music is a force for good and something that brings positive energy into the world,\u201d keyboardist Nick Rhodes said in a statement. He described the single as a \u201ccall to all the people out there who want peace, hope, and understanding to prevail\u201d and an \u201canthem for freedom.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tRodgers added, \u201cMy love for Duran Duran and what our music together has always been about is the love we share for our song\u2019s deepest meanings. Whatever chaos is going on outside, inside the studio we\u2019re free to love our peace.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tDuran Duran are set to headline<\/a> California\u2019s Beachlife Festival, followed by a multi-night Las Vegas residency at the Fontainebleau. The band will then head to Europe for a month-long run. <\/p>\n
