Coronation Street villain Megan Walsh triumphs again tonight as she makes a secret audio recording which exposes Maggie Driscoll’s biggest secret<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The two schemers have been battling for weeks now, but it seems that Megan has the edge after overhearing a damning conversation in the Rovers back yard.<\/p>\n

Thursday’s episode sees Maggie’s past come back to haunt her as she clashes with Will Driscoll’s mother Melanie<\/a> outside the pub.<\/p>\n

Melanie wants Will to move to Scotland with her, convinced that the Driscolls didn’t do enough to protect the teenager from Megan’s predatory behaviour<\/a>.<\/p>\n

When Maggie disagrees that this is the best move for her beloved grandson, Melanie turns nasty by blackmailing her rival \u2013 convince Ben to let Will go, or else!<\/p>\n

Last year, Coronation Street aired flashback scenes showing that Maggie accidentally killed her husband Alan. While Ben is oblivious to this, Maggie’s youngest boy Finlay witnessed the incident.<\/p>\n

“I’m very, very close with Finlay,” Melanie points out tonight. “He’s never got over what happened. Alan’s ‘accident’. He saw it. The push \u2013 not a fall. He still gets flashbacks. PTSD, probably.”<\/p>\n

As Maggie mulls over Melanie’s demands, things get worse as she’s approached by Megan \u2013 who overheard the conversation and sneakily took the opportunity to record it.<\/p>\n

“You attacked me, trashed my name,” Megan complains. “But it turns out, you’re the liar. Hypocrite. Murderer.”<\/p>\n

Megan taunts Maggie by refusing to delete the recording, aware that it could be useful leverage in the future.<\/p>\n

But as the show’s ‘murder week’ draws to a close, could Maggie strike against Megan to protect her secret?<\/p>\n

Maggie and Megan are both on the list of five characters<\/a> who could die this week, alongside Carl Webster, Jodie Ramsey and Theo Silverton.<\/p>\n

All will be revealed in Friday night’s episode (1 May)<\/a>, as Betsy Swain stumbles across the dead body \u2013 sparking a murder investigation.<\/p>\n
