She shared a teaser, with a verse from an unreleased song, via Instagram yesterday. Watch that below.<\/p>\n<p>Sugar Girl is the latest in a string of stopgap EPs from Simz, the last of which was <a href=\"https:\/\/pitchfork.com\/reviews\/albums\/little-simz-drop-7-ep\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Drop 7<\/a> in 2024, just over a year after <a href=\"https:\/\/pitchfork.com\/reviews\/albums\/little-simz-no-thank-you\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">No Thank You<\/a>. Since Lotus, she has helmed an edition of London\u2019s prestigious <a href=\"https:\/\/pitchfork.com\/news\/little-simz-to-curate-londons-meltdown-festival-2025\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Meltdown festival<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/pitchfork.com\/news\/little-simz-announces-autumn-2025-north-american-tour\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">toured<\/a> North America, and acted alongside Cillian Murphy in Steve, the Netflix movie adapted from Max Porter\u2019s Shy.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Little Simz has a new EP just around the corner.
