A WINNER has been crowned in the Nikon Comedy Wildlife Awards \u2013 and first place has ruffled some feathers.<\/p>\n
Some of this year\u2019s best entries included dancing gorillas monkeying around and a bear cub baring it all for the cameras.<\/p>\n

Alison Tuck\u2019s perfectly-timed snap of a gannet with grass over its head \u2013 titled \u201cNow, where\u2019s my nest?\u201d \u2013 was dubbed top of the pecking order.<\/p>\n
In another snap by Andrew Mortimer, two frogs looked like they were Kermit-ting a crime as one stood upright on the other\u2019s back.<\/p>\n
Michael Stavrakakis captured an orangutang in the forest who, much like the Jungle Book\u2019s King Louie, wanted to prove he was king of the swingers.<\/p>\n
Another hilarious picture, taken by John Speirs, shows a duck who didn\u2019t fancy being up at the quack of dawn.<\/p>\n

Entries for the awards \u2013 which comes from all over the world \u2013 were shortlisted from the 2025 awards.<\/p>\n
The overall competition winner and winners for individual categories were announced last December.<\/p>\n
Mark Meth Cohn\u2019s snap of a gorilla seemingly doing the Kong-a thorough the Virunga Mountains, in East Africa, was the overall winner.<\/p>\n
Warren Price captured some fowl play between two guillemots \u2013 landing him the winning picture in the bird category.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, a snap of some un-hoppy frogs \u2013 taken by teen photographer Grayson Bell \u2013 won the reptiles, amphibian and insect category.<\/p>\n
And a fish bass-king in the coral was captured by Jenny Stock \u2013 winning the fish and aquatic species award.<\/p>\n

But Alison emerged victorious in the People\u2019s Choice Vote \u2013 which is entirely down to the public. <\/p>\n
She took the snap while on a school trip to Bempton Cliffs, with her snap showing the gannet collecting grass for a nest in windy conditions.<\/p>\n
