The BBC has confirmed its stacked presenting lineup for Eurovision 2026, boasting new additions and some returning favourites. This year’s competition is set to take place in Vienna later this month, with the UK hoping to top the leaderboard with entry LOOK MUM NO COMPUTER<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Eurovision legend Graham Norton will be back to commentate on the Grand Final on Saturday, 16 May, where we should expect some brilliant one-liners.<\/p>\n

Before that, Rylan will oversee the semi-finals alongside new co-presenter Angela Scanlon \u2013 who replaces Scott Mills following his recent BBC exit<\/a>. Here, the competing acts will be whittled down to the final 25 competing in the final.<\/p>\n

The semi-finals on 12 and 14 May will also see performances from the pre-qualified ‘Big Four’ countries: the UK, Germany, France and Italy, plus last year’s winner, Austria, who automatically go through too.<\/p>\n

In terms of radio coverage, Sara Cox will host the semis before overseeing the final with Rylan on Radio 2 and BBC Sounds. There are also scheduled shows hosted by Dermot O\u2019Leary, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Richie Anderson, Ellie Taylor and OJ Borg.<\/p>\n

RuPaul’s Drag Race UK icon Tia Kofi, meanwhile, will be on hand as a digital roving reporter, with access to this year’s acts and a behind-the-scenes look at the event.<\/p>\n

Eurovision hits a milestone 70 years in 2026 as well, with Norton saying of being involved: “It feels really special to be back, gently guiding viewers through the Grand Final in this very momentous 70th anniversary year.”<\/p>\n

Rylan echoed: “It\u2019s the 70th Eurovision Song Contest and the biggest show on the planet. Being part of anything this big is something younger me could never have imagined.”<\/p>\n

Scanlon added: “I grew up watching the Eurovision Song Contest with my three sisters, making very serious (and wildly biased) scorecards from the couch, so to now be part of it – especially in its 70th year – is genuinely surreal.”<\/p>\n

This year’s Eurovision has been surrounded in controversy, with countries including Ireland, Spain<\/a>, the Netherlands, Iceland and Slovenia<\/a> not participating due to the European Broadcasting Union’s (EBU) decision that Israel will be allowed to participate.<\/p>\n

Norton previously praised LOOK MUM NO COMPUTER’s entry song<\/a>, ‘Eins, Zwei, Drei’, calling it “a real banger”. He added: “Joyful and supremely catchy. Hopefully it can get the rest of Europe singing along.” <\/p>\n

The Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 will take place on Saturday 16 May, with the Semi-Finals airing on Tuesday 12 and Thursday 14 May. They will air live on BBC One and iPlayer, as well as via BBC Radio 2 and BBC Sounds.<\/p>\n
