Lisa Kudrow<\/a>\u2019s Friends costars are reportedly not happy that she revealed that they\u2019re still raking in millions of dollars a year in residuals.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe others were stunned Lisa said it out loud,\u201d a source told Rob Shuter for his Naughty But Nice Substack<\/a> on Thursday, April 30. \u201cNobody talks about the money. That has always been the unspoken rule.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kudrow, along with Jennifer Aniston<\/a>, Matt LeBlanc<\/a>, Courteney Cox<\/a>, and David Schwimmer<\/a>, each earn $20 million per year<\/a>, despite the show ending more than 20 years ago, the Comeback star claimed. Their sixth costar, Matthew Perry<\/a>, tragically died in October 2023<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey\u2019ve always been disciplined about it,\u201d another source told Shuter. \u201cYou never hear Jen talking about residuals. You never hear Courteney talking about syndication checks. There\u2019s a reason for that.\u201d<\/p>\n

Friends ran for 10 seasons<\/a> on NBC between 1994 and 2004. The castmates famously re-negotiated their contracts as a team in 2002. Each of the core six<\/a> agreed to a historic $1 million per episode salary for the final two seasons of the series.<\/p>\n
