However, hot on the heels of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/musically.com\/2025\/08\/20\/spotify-adds-dj-style-transitions-that-subscribers-can-customise\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">launching its new mixing feature for users<\/a>, it has buddied up with three companies in the DJ-software space again. Spotify Premium subscribers will now be able to get at their libraries and playlists\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/newsroom.spotify.com\/2025-09-24\/dj-software-integration-premium\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">from tools made by Rekordbox, Serato and Djay<\/a>\u00a0if they live in one of the 51 countries where these integrations are going live. <\/p>\n<p>In its own announcement of its deal,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/the-drop.serato.com\/announcements\/spotify-and-serato-dj\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Serato outlined some of the restrictions involved<\/a>. \u201cPlaylists cannot be created in Serato, only in Spotify,\u201d it explained. \u201cNo Serato Stems support. No offline storage. No bulk track analysis. Personal, non-commercial use only.\u201d\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/rekordbox.com\/en\/2025\/09\/rekordbox-for-mac-win-spotify-support\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Rekordbox\u2019s announcement<\/a>\u00a0also hinted at\u00a0the latter restriction with its reference to \u201cwhether you\u2019re practicing at home or playing for friends and family\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Related Stories\t\t\t<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Spotify\u00a0pulled its support for third-party DJ apps\u00a0back in 2020.
