Coronation Street fans can expect another furious row at The Rovers next week as Will Driscoll’s future is called into question again.<\/p>\n

With Will’s mum Melanie<\/a> now back on the scene, she’s adamant that the troubled schoolboy should move to Scotland with her. Unsurprisingly, Will’s dad Ben has other ideas\u2026<\/p>\n

During a showdown in the pub’s back room, Melanie lays out her case for why Will should enjoy a fresh start far away from Weatherfield.<\/p>\n

Melanie reckons that Will’s family didn’t do enough to protect him from Megan Walsh’s predatory behaviour, even though Ben and Eva Price insist they can’t be blamed for being fooled by a master manipulator.<\/p>\n

“Melanie isn’t shy when it comes to blaming Ben and Eva,” our Weatherfield insider recently revealed<\/a>. “It may be unfair, but she thinks that they should have kept a much closer eye on Will.”<\/p>\n

As things come to a head, Ben decides that it’s time for some home truths. Hit play on the clip below to watch how it all unfolds:<\/p>\n

“There’s things going on that you don’t know about,” Ben explains. “Things that I need to get him through.”<\/p>\n

When Melanie asks for more information, Ben replies: “Megan had an abortion. So he needs to be here with us. You are not going to take him away from his family.” <\/p>\n

Eva is forced to play peacemaker between the warring ex-couple, begging for some calm. Can any agreement be reached over Will’s future?<\/p>\n

Well, spoilers for next week’s episodes<\/a> have already revealed that crisis talks lead to a decision that Will should move away after all \u2013 with the teenager himself even in agreement. But with Megan still in the picture, is there more to it?<\/p>\n

Megan had been one of five villains<\/a> in the frame to be killed off this week, but in the end, it was Theo Silverton<\/a> whose body was found by Betsy Swain.<\/p>\n

Speaking afterwards, James Cartwright \u2013 who played Theo \u2013 told Inside Soap’s Soap Scoop<\/a> podcast: “I join a long line of people who’ve met Corrie’s own brand of justice. I think ultimately, it was always going to be thus. I remember chatting to Kate Brooks, the magnificent producer. Theo was all her doing, really. It was her vision and she’s wonderful.<\/p>\n

“When we very first started, she said: ‘Look, it’s either going to be court or Corrie’s own brand of justice’. Then, as it went further on, it was decided that there’s no need for another court case. So off he goes, mate!”<\/p>\n
