Parks and Recreation, the much-loved sitcom starring several big names including Amy Poehler and Chris Pratt, has just found a new streaming<\/a> home in the UK, with all episodes being available on Channel 4<\/a>. <\/p>\n

From creators Greg Daniels and Michael Schur, the award-winning mockumentary<\/a> follows the lives of Poehler’s Leslie Knope and her colleagues at the Parks and Recreation Department of Pawnee, Indiana.<\/p>\n

Alongside Poehler and Pratt, the latter of whom plays Andy Dwyer, the sitcom<\/a> also features Aubrey Plaza, Rashida Jones, Adam Scott, Nick Offerman, Rob Lowe, Aziz Ansari, Retta and Billy Eichner.<\/p>\n

The series, which ran for seven seasons and 126 episodes before coming to an end in 2015, was acclaimed for much of its run, with Rotten Tomatoes<\/a> reporting an impressive approval rating of 93%. <\/p>\n

Following the first season, which has a score of 68%, there was a marked upturn in quality, with IGN Movies<\/a> calling it the “best and funniest show on television” in its review of the second season.<\/p>\n

That season earned a score of 96%, while the third and fourth seasons – as well as the 2020 special – boast a rare 100% score. The fifth and sixth seasons also have 96% approval ratings, with the seventh slightly lower at 89%.<\/p>\n

The fourth season was described as “funny and touching” by HitFix<\/a>, while AV Club<\/a> wrote: “It’s just a pleasure to hang out with these people in this world every week, and it’s a pleasure to get to watch this show at the height of its powers.”<\/p>\n

Elsewhere, TIME Magazine<\/a> praised the series as “a show that has clear eyes and full heart enough to look at what, to most people, would be a bland bureaucratic office, and see something sweet and delicious”.<\/p>\n

Parks and Recreation is streaming on Channel 4 in the UK. It’s also available on Sky. In the US, the show streams on Peacock.<\/p>\n
