Allianz, title sponsor of the Olympic Federation of Ireland (OFI) and Paralympics Ireland, has said it is proud to announce a new brand ambassador partnership with record-breaking Irish heptathlete and Olympian, Dundalk woman, Kate O\u2019Connor.<\/p>\n

Allianz said the new partnership is an extension of its global commitment to the Olympic and Paralympic movements. Kate joins fellow Olympic and Paralympic icons Rhasidat Adeleke and Orla Comerford in the Allianz family, a move that Allianz said underscores its commitment to championing elite talent as it continues to expand its prestigious stable of athlete ambassadors.<\/p>\n

It said that \u201cKate\u2019s versatility and dedication mirror Allianz\u2019s core values of excellence, integrity and being ‘there’ when it matters most.<\/p>\n

\u201cHer recent achievements have cemented her status as a world-class competitor, including a record-breaking silver medal at the World Athletics Championships in Tokyo, as well as a new National Record and a World Indoor Bronze.\u201d<\/p>\n

Speaking on the announcement, Kate O\u2019Connor said: \u201cI am delighted to join the Allianz team alongside such incredible athletes as Rhasidat and Orla.<\/p>\n

As part of this partnership, Kate will continue to support the Allianz-sponsored \u2018Dare to Believe\u2019 Olympic schools programme, which brings the spirit of the Olympics into classrooms across Ireland.<\/p>\n

She will also get onboard with Allianz\u2019s ‘Keep Playing\u2019 campaign \u2014 a pioneering initiative designed to address the critical issue of declining sports participation among young people.<\/p>\n

With one in five children in Ireland currently dropping out of sport between primary and secondary school, Allianz said it is committed to reversing this trend through its sports partnerships, which it said enables over 60,000 children annually to engage with sport.<\/p>\n

Allianz added that it is proud to stand by Kate\u2019s side as her 2026 season continues to build and as she looks ahead to representing Ireland on the world stage.<\/p>\n
