Now that the ceasefire is holding, Ronan Keating has wasted no time leading<\/a> the celebrity charge back to the Emirates landing at a suitably swanky desert resort that he simply cannot stop raving about.<\/p>\n

The former Boyzone frontman treated his Instagram followers to a 20-picture tour of the Ritz-Carlton Al Wadi Desert in Ras Al Khaimah this week \u2013 a sprawling luxury resort featuring private infinity pools, sand-dune backdrops, and a fluffy branded toy camel sitting on the coffee table. Just in case you missed the vibe.<\/p>\n

Keating gathered a glamorous group of friends and family at the resort for a birthday celebration for his son Cooper<\/a> and pal Matt, and made absolutely certain that nobody on his Instagram feed was left in any doubt whatsoever about exactly where he was staying.<\/p>\n

In a carousel of no fewer than 20 images, he managed to feature the hotel\u2019s welcome mat, its branded soft toy, wife Storm draped elegantly across the infinity pool, the family posing in front of what appeared to be the resort\u2019s oryx sanctuary, and Keating himself shirtless on the hotel treadmill in a pair of very yellow shorts. Thorough does not begin to cover it.<\/p>\n

\u2018Wow, this place has blown my mind,\u2019 he wrote with breathless enthusiasm, before thanking the team effusively by name, declaring it one of the most outstanding desert resorts in the world, and noting that they had \u2018laughed, danced, sang and made memories for a lifetime.\u2019<\/p>\n

The post racked up over 3,000 likes, with Storm among the first to hit the heart button. And it is not difficult to see why the resort\u2019s PR team will have slept very soundly that evening.<\/p>\n

Keating has long been evangelical about the UAE, calling it home for several years now and insisting there is no better place on earth if you enjoy golf, sunshine and, apparently, a very well-appointed gym.<\/p>\n

One imagines the Ritz-Carlton Al Wadi Desert enjoyed the coverage enormously.
