A lucky Dubliner has become the second Lotto jackpot winner of 2026 after they scooped the top prize during Saturday night\u2019s draw.<\/p>\n
The player won a staggering \u20ac8,726,418. The winning numbers for Saturday\u2019s Lotto<\/a> draw (2nd May) were: 01, 07, 27, 28, 34, 42 and the bonus was 26.<\/p>\n The National Lottery<\/a> has confirmed that the winning retail location will be announced on Wednesday, May 6. Meanwhile, a player in Westmeath also had a Saturday night to remember after matching five numbers and the bonus to win an incredible \u20ac146,878.<\/p>\n The Midlands player purchased their winning Quick Pick ticket on Thursday April 30 at The Grove Service Station in Baylough, Athlone. National Lottery spokesperson Sarah Orr had the following advice for players: \u201cWhat a weekend it\u2019s been for National Lottery players all over the country! A Lotto player in Dublin<\/a> has officially become Ireland\u2019s newest millionaire after winning Saturday night\u2019s Lotto jackpot worth an impressive \u20ac8,726,418.<\/p>\n “We are encouraging all of our players in the Capital to carefully check their tickets today as one player now holds the title of second Lotto jackpot winner of 2026. Saturday night\u2019s draw also saw a Westmeath player win \u20ac146,878 after matching five numbers and the bonus in the main draw.<\/p>\n “Over 101,000 players nationwide won prizes across the Lotto and Plus draws on Saturday night, including the Dublin and Westmeath winners. The two biggest winners of the night are advised to sign the back of their tickets and keep them safe.
