\n\tThe Pussycat Dolls<\/a> have canceled the North American leg of their upcoming reunion tour<\/a> after taking \u201can honest look\u201d at their first trek in 17 years.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe group \u2014 now Nicole Scherzinger, Kimberly Wyatt, and Ashley Roberts \u2014 announced the decision to cancel all but one U.S. show Monday. While the group didn\u2019t elaborate on the \u201chonest look,\u201d Variety cites<\/a> low ticket sales that were frequently mocked on social media as the cause of the cancellation.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cDolls: We want to share an important update with you,\u201d the Pussycat Dolls wrote on social media. \u201cWhen we announced the PCD FOREVER Tour, we hoped to bring the show to fans across the world. After taking an honest look at the North American run, we\u2019ve made the difficult and heartbreaking decision to cancel all but one of the North America dates.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Pussycat Dolls\u2019 lone remaining U.S. tour date is a June 6 appearance at Los Angeles\u2019 WeHo Pride. \u201cWe could not think of a more meaningful place to celebrate with our fans,\u201d the group said. \u201cThe LGBTQ+ community has shown us so much love and support throughout our career, and we\u2019re honored to be part of a weekend rooted in joy, pride, music, and chosen family.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tIn 2020, the singing group first announced plans to reunite<\/a> for their first tour together since 2009 in 2020, but the Covid pandemic and subsequent legal issues<\/a> scuttled that tour. Plans were then made for the PCD Forever Tour to mark the 20th anniversary of their debut album, but demand wasn\u2019t enough to fill arenas \u2026 at least stateside: The Pussycat Dolls also said Monday that their international gigs are proceeding as scheduled.<\/p>\n
