Former 98FM star Suzanne Kane has announced her return to radio over a year after she left the airwaves.<\/p>\n

Suzanne – who co-hosted a 98FM show with Brian Dowling – was off air since February 2025 but only publicly shared the news of her departure in June.<\/p>\n

After over a year being off the airwaves, Suzanne is set to make a return to radio on Tuesday as she covers for Louise Cantillon on Today FM.<\/p>\n

Suzanne, who will be on air from 12pm to 2pm starting on Tuesday for the week, shared a funny video of herself catching a pair of headphones and a microphone thrown to her by her husband, Joey, as she gets ready to get back to work.<\/p>\n

‘Let\u2019s have lunch and catch up! Can’t wait’, she wrote in the video’s caption.<\/p>\n

Everyone in the comments was delighted by the exciting news, including members from the Today FM team.<\/p>\n

Suzanne announced her departure from 98FM last year after she had been missing from her show with Brian Dowling<\/a>, for a few months.<\/p>\n

After taking a three-month hiatus from the airwaves, she grappled with the right decision to make, and previously said those weeks were very ‘tough’ for her as she made the difficult decision to step away from the show.<\/p>\n

She said at the time: ‘I walked away from a job I\u2019d worked my whole life to achieve,\u2019 she began. \u2018I thought it defined me, and for a time, thought it broke me. Turns out it was the making of me.<\/p>\n

‘The space to breathe and regulate. Also, to be present for my kids.
