{"id":433623,"date":"2026-05-05T16:07:13","date_gmt":"2026-05-05T16:07:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/433623\/"},"modified":"2026-05-05T16:07:13","modified_gmt":"2026-05-05T16:07:13","slug":"throw-in-time-tv-details-and-everything-you-need-to-know","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/433623\/","title":{"rendered":"Throw-in time, TV details and everything you need to know"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Another week, another massive Munster Senior Hurling championship clash to look forward to.<\/p>\n<p>This weekend Waterford are back in action, as are Cork, who will be looking to seal their place in the Munster Hurling final.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Both teams should be fresh having had last weekend off and both will be desperate for the victory, for different reasons.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">While the Rebels are aiming to move a step closer to retaining their Munster crown by effectively booking their return to the decider, the D\u00e9ise will be looking to keep their dreams of progressing to the All-Ireland season alive.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">A loss away to  <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.irishexaminer.com\/sport\/gaa\/arid-41838909.html\">Clare<\/a> and a draw at home to Tipperary means it\u2019s almost do-or-die now for Waterford.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Cork, on the other hand, come into this match with two wins out of two but a third straight triumph will give them the luxury of having a free hit against Clare in the final round.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">It promises to be another Munster hurling thriller.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Here is everything you need to know ahead of throw-in.<\/p>\n<p class=\"contextmenu caption\">Where is the game being played?<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Azzurri Walsh Park in Waterford is the venue for the game.<\/p>\n<p class=\"contextmenu caption\">What time is throw-in?<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Throw-in has been set for 6pm on Saturday, May 9.<\/p>\n<p class=\"contextmenu caption\">Where to watch?<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Waterford v Cork will be broadcast live on GAA+ but you can also follow the best of the action on the Irish Examiner\u2019s new and improved liveblog.<\/p>\n<p class=\"contextmenu caption\">What&#8217;s on before it?<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">There are no other Munster hurling matches this weekend but Wexford do face Dublin in the Leinster Senior Hurling Championship group match at Chadwicks Wexford Park.
