Kylie Minogue<\/a> reveals she felt \u201cremoved\u201d from her body and \u201cso scared of what was ahead of me\u201d as she discusses her battle with breast cancer<\/a> in the trailer for her new Netflix<\/a> documentary.<\/p>\n

The upcoming three-part series, created by the team behind Netflix\u2019s David Beckham<\/a> documentary, Beckham<\/a>, will explore how the Australian singer became one of pop\u2019s biggest stars.<\/p>\n

Featuring footage from home movies, personal photographs and new interviews with the singer herself, Netflix has said it \u201cexamines how she\u2019s faced public scrutiny, personal loss, and illness with grit and grace, earning respect far beyond her own fandom\u201d.<\/p>\n

A new trailer shows footage of Minogue over the decades, including as Charlene in Neighbours, behind the scenes of her music videos, in photo shoots with her then boyfriend, late INXS frontman Michael Hutchence<\/a>, and on stage at Glastonbury<\/a>.<\/p>\n

It also shows both her and her sister Dannii Minogue talking about cancer.<\/p>\n

Kylie says: \u201cI felt removed from my body, I was so scared of what was ahead of me.\u201d<\/p>\n

Dannii adds: \u201cWe didn\u2019t know if she\u2019s ever gonna be well again. I just wanted to be with my sister.\u201d<\/p>\n

Minogue was diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer in May 2005 aged 36.<\/p>\n

She underwent a lumpectomy and chemotherapy in Paris, and was given the all-clear in 2006.<\/p>\n

News coverage of her cancer diagnosis caused an unprecedented increase in bookings for mammograms, referred to as the \u201cKylie effect\u201d.<\/p>\n

The documentary trailer also features her collaborator and friend Nick Cave<\/a>, who says: \u201cKylie is this force. It\u2019s all outward, giving.\u201d<\/p>\n
