Jimmy Kimmel compared President Donald Trump\u2019s negotiating tactics with Iran to bad sex, mocking the administration\u2019s handling of the escalating conflict in the Middle East<\/p>\n

\u201cBut this is how he does it. For him, a negotiation, it\u2019s like sex,\u201d Kimmel joked on Wednesday night\u2019s episode of \u201cJimmy Kimmel Live!\u201d \u201cHe\u2019s bad at it. It mostly consists of flailing around. And he can only do it for a short amount of time before he starts yelling that he\u2019s finished.\u201d<\/p>\n

The ABC late-night host spent most of his opening segment roasting reports that the White House is nearing a deal with Iran despite the continued closure of the Strait of Hormuz and rising tensions in the region.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe details of this supposed deal are still very much in flux,\u201d Kimmel said. \u201cAs in, what the flux are we doing over there?\u201d<\/p>\n

Kimmel also mocked Trump over reports that a proposed agreement with Iran could include a uranium enrichment moratorium lasting more than 10 years, comparing it to the Obama-era nuclear deal, which included restrictions lasting up to 15 years, that Trump repeatedly criticized during his first term.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd now he\u2019s going to top it by making an even worse worst deal in history,\u201d Kimmel joked. \u201cIt\u2019s called \u2018The Art of the Deal.\u2019 Folks, you should read the book.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kimmel also mocked the shifting language used to describe the conflict with Iran, joking that the administration has avoided calling it a war to sidestep congressional approval.<\/p>\n

\u201cOne of the most ridiculous things about this war is that half the time they talk about it, they don\u2019t call it a war because you\u2019re supposed to get approval from Congress to go to war, which Trump did not do,\u201d Kimmel said.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe calls it a skirmish,\u201d Kimmel responded to a clip of Trump talking about the state of the conflict. \u201cFirst it was an excursion, then it was a mini war. And now it\u2019s a skirmish. Next month it\u2019ll be a tiff. It\u2019ll be a $200 billion tiff.\u201d<\/p>\n

The late-night host also poked fun at Trump\u2019s vocabulary during the same appearance, particularly his explanation of maritime drug trafficking.<\/p>\n

\u201cDrug traffic coming into our country\u2019s way down. And by sea, by sea, by ocean, by the water. You know, a lot of people say, \u2018What do you mean by sea? Is it sea like vision?\u2019 No, it\u2019s the sea,\u201d Trump said in the clip.<\/p>\n

Kimmel added: \u201cOh, I thought it was the sea like senile. I didn\u2019t know. I know I was also confused by that.\u201d<\/p>\n
