On the latest episode<\/a> of Call Her Daddy, released May 6, the pop singer \u2014 who identifies as \u201cnot straight\u201d<\/a> but eschews specific labels \u2014 shared that she is \u201cmostly celibate,\u201d with one caveat. Pressed by host Alex Cooper to clarify, Kesha said, \u201cI\u2019m celibate except for when I\u2019m in Italy.\u201d And you\u2019ll never guess the continuation of that thought: \u201cSo now I actually masturbate to gratitude meditations,\u201d she went on to say.<\/p>\n \u201cLet me just say those downloads on the gratitude ones are going to way up,\u201d Cooper joked.<\/p>\n Why is Italy the only one of the nearly 200 countries on earth where Kesha still feels like finding a partner? She did not elaborate, but elsewhere in the episode she heaped praise on the country\u2019s pasta. \u201cI actually love my body,\u201d Kesha said, during a portion of the conversation focused on self-esteem and self-image. \u201cAnd I went to Italy and I ate a lot of pasta and I love it. Like, it\u2019s so cunty to just be in your body and love it.\u201d<\/p>\n Elsewhere in the interview, Kesha \u2014 one of a rash of LGBTQ+ celebrities<\/a> to host paranormal TV shows in recent years \u2014 also elaborated on her spiritual belief in past lives. When asked by Cooper to list off some of those lives, she rattled off, \u201cI think I was burned at the stake, I definitely was a man, and this is like a delusion that\u2019s helped me in a lot of ways, but I like to think that I am the reincarnation of Athena.\u201d<\/p>\n Not to fact-check something said on Call Her Daddy but Athena was not a real historical figure \u2014 and also, in Kesha\u2019s preferred country of Italy, the goddess would be known as Minerva.
