{"id":438499,"date":"2026-05-08T10:05:08","date_gmt":"2026-05-08T10:05:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/438499\/"},"modified":"2026-05-08T10:05:08","modified_gmt":"2026-05-08T10:05:08","slug":"letterkenny-woman-pleads-guilty-to-dealing-cocaine","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/438499\/","title":{"rendered":"Letterkenny woman pleads guilty to dealing cocaine"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A Letterkenny woman has pleaded guilty to drug dealing in the town.<\/p>\n<p>Priscilla Connors appeared before Letterkenny Circuit where she was formally arraigned before Judge John Aylmer.<\/p>\n<p>Connors, a 28-year-old of Ballymacool Wood, Letterkenny, is charged with having a controlled drug, namely cocaine, for the purpose of unlawfully selling or otherwise supplying it to another.<\/p>\n<p>The charge is contrary to section 15 and section 27 (as amended by section 6 of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1984) of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1977.<\/p>\n<p>Connors spoke only to plead guilty when the charge was put to her.<\/p>\n<p>Her barrister, Mr Devlin, asked for a probation report on behalf of his client, who the court heard has no previous convictions.<\/p>\n<p>Judge Aylmer requested a probation report to include an assessment as to Connors\u2019 suitability for community service.<\/p>\n<p>The case was adjourned to the October sitting of Letterkenny Circuit Court.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"A Letterkenny woman has pleaded guilty to drug dealing in the town.
