After starting the previous two games, Miche\u00e1l Aodh Martin makes way for Patrick Doyle, with the latter set to start for the first time since the Allianz Division 2 League final loss to Meath.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/4112611_89_articleinline_2793268.jpg\" alt=\"Cork manager John Cleary. Picture: Brendan Moran\/Sportsfile<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">As expected, Colm O\u2019Callaghan returns to midfield alongside Ian Maguire, after the \u00c9ire \u00d3g man only came on against Tipperary as the management were managing his workload. Se\u00e1n Walsh drops to the bench.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">The third switch is at wing-forward, with the experienced Ruair\u00ed Deane \u2014 better known as an impact sub in recent seasons \u2014 getting the nod to start this time, with Conor Cahalane making way.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">On the bench, Matty Taylor returns from injury, having picked up a shoulder problem against Kildare in March.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">There\u2019s no Brian Hurley and Dara Sheedy in reserve due to their respective injuries.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Cork haven\u2019t won the Munster title since 2012 and are appearing in their first provincial final since 2021.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">They are aiming to win in Fitzgerald Stadium for the first time in the championship since 1995, though they did claim victory there in January in the McGrath Cup final.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/5071668_12_articleinline_2470809-R7_DW6I7389.jpg\" alt=\"Cork's Daniel O\u2019Mahony and David Clifford of Kerry in 2024.
