Dianna Russini made a cringey comment about her and her husband\u2019s sex life in front of Mike Vrabel years before Page Six obtained bombshell photos of the pair together<\/a> at an exclusive Arizona resort.<\/p>\n

Footage of the NFL insider\u2019s surprising remark was made during a Barstool Sports segment in April 2020, as seen in a viral clip<\/a> that has resurfaced on social media amid the scandal.<\/p>\n

Russini, Vrabel and seven other sports personalities appeared via Zoom for a \u201cBarstool Feud\u201d game inspired by the hit game show \u201cFamily Feud.\u201d<\/p>\n

A clip of the sports reporter\u2019s remark, which was made during a Barstool Sports segment in April 2020, resurfaced on social media this week. Barstool Sports<\/p>\n

\u201cOK, Dianna, what is something you might close your eyes to do?\u201d the former ESPN reporter was asked during the segment, per an X video of the awkward incident.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen you have sex with your husband or wife,\u201d Russini, 43, quickly responded.<\/p>\n

While most of the players laughed off the sports reporter\u2019s comment, Vrabel, 50, appeared to shake his head in response.<\/p>\n

Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy, meanwhile, rushed to X after the 2020 video resurfaced to express his surprise and confusion.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen you have sex with your husband or wife,\u201d Russini responded when asked to name \u201csomething you might close your eyes to do.\u201d Barstool Sports<\/p>\n

This isn\u2019t the first time footage of Russini belittling her husband, Shake Shack exec Kevin Goldschmidt, has resurfaced in light of her and Vrabel\u2019s bombshell photo scandal, however.<\/p>\n

The resigned Athletic reporter disparaged her husband again during a 2021 episode of ESPN\u2019s \u201cGet Up\u201d morning show, which aired just months after she and Goldschmidt tied the knot in September 2020.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m married to someone average,\u201d the mom of two said at the time. \u201cI don\u2019t post a lot about him. If I was married to someone beautiful, I\u2019d overpost too.\u201d<\/p>\n

Russini went on to recognize that she was \u201ckilling\u201d Goldschmidt on live TV \u2013 before doubling down on her surprising comments.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo the guy\u2019s got a heart of gold, and here I am on national TV killing him,\u201d she laughed. \u201cLook, we\u2019re average together, but he makes me above average because he married me.\u201d<\/p>\n

Russini concluded, \u201cI am so sorry, I need to really stop killing my husband on television. I\u2019m going to be divorced by Christmas!\u201d<\/p>\n

Vrabel and Russini\u2019s dynamic has been making headlines ever since Page Six exclusively obtained pics of the duo embracing and spending time together<\/a> at a resort in Sedona, Ariz., in March.<\/p>\n

The pair, who are both married to different people, were also seen embracing and hanging in the pool. \u00a9 Page SIx<\/p>\n

The Athletic, the New York Times sports outlet where Russini was working at the time, sidelined their top reporter and launched an investigation into her conduct<\/a> amid the initial photo drama. She resigned from the outlet<\/a> on April 14.<\/p>\n

Vrabel, who is also married and shares two sons with his wife of over 25 years, Jen, addressed the scandal<\/a> for the first time to a room of reporters shortly before this year\u2019s NFL Draft on April 21.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve had some difficult conversations with people that I care about \u2014 my family, the organization, the coaches, the players,\u201d the New England Patriots head coach said in part.<\/p>\n

Since then, more photos and videos of the two hanging out over the years has surfaced.<\/p>\n

Earlier this week, TMZ Sports also released<\/a> photos and footage of the duo taking a private boat trip together<\/a> in Tennessee in June 2021 when Russini was around seven months pregnant. She welcomed her first son, Michael, two months later.<\/p>\n

Although a source told the outlet that the pair were \u201ccautious about photos being taken\u201d<\/a> during their lake excursion, Vrabel reportedly posed for a photo with a group of fans under the condition that it wouldn\u2019t be shared publicly.<\/p>\n
