Trisha Krishnan, who is rumoured to be dating her co-star from multiple films, Vijay, went to attend his swearing-in ceremony. Vijay took the oath as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu at the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium on Sunday (May 10), following his party\u2019s grand victory in the 2026 elections. Trisha, who was there to support her close friend and rumoured partner, spoke to the media and shared her excitement.<\/p>\n

Trisha, who wore a stunning blue silk saree<\/a> paired with a contrasting off-white heavily adorned blouse, paired the saree with contrasting jewellery featuring red jewels and tied her hair back in a low bun adorned with gajra. She spoke to the media following Vijay\u2019s oath ceremony.<\/p>\n

The actress, unable to control her happiness, while blushing, shared with Times Now, \u201cI am very happy.” When asked if she wished to share any message for the people of Tamil Nadu, who supported Vijay in his big win, Trisha shared, \u201cYes, congratulations.”<\/p>\n

Many wrote that she looked \u201cgenuinely ecstatic” watching her longtime friend take oath as Tamil Nadu\u2019s Chief Minister. Many even called her one of Vijay\u2019s \u201cbiggest supporters” during his transition from cinema superstar to political leader. The actress had also made headlines earlier this week after being spotted at Vijay\u2019s Chennai residence as Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam\u2019s election victory became clear.<\/p>\n
