{"id":441754,"date":"2026-05-10T13:15:08","date_gmt":"2026-05-10T13:15:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/441754\/"},"modified":"2026-05-10T13:15:08","modified_gmt":"2026-05-10T13:15:08","slug":"limerick-mans-car-that-was-to-be-scrapped-was-found-on-the-street-with-no-tax-or-insurance","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/441754\/","title":{"rendered":"Limerick man&#8217;s car that was to be scrapped was found on the street with no tax or insurance"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A MAN who had sold a car was brought before the district <a href=\"https:\/\/www.limerickleader.ie\/section\/463\/crime-court\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">court<\/a> for not having valid tax and insurance displayed.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Kilmallock District Court heard that on October 18, 2025, Garda Norris was on patrol on Sarsfield Street in Kilmallock.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>He observed a car parked on the street at 9.25am, which had no insurance disc displayed and a Fixed Charge Penalty Notice was issued and was not paid.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>On the same date, there was no valid tax displayed and another Fixed Charge Penalty Notice was issued.
