It also campaigns for wider changes to improve the experiences of children and parents.<\/p>\n<p>Lucy said the charity has \u201cpersonally helped me in the past as well as thousands of other families.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>What is a community book pledge?<br \/>Lucy explained that a community book pledge raises money to provide books. These books will support families and children, giving them something to escape into and enjoy together.<\/p>\n<p>She added that businesses which choose to sponsor the pledge will receive a certificate to display, showing that they want to help make a change too.<\/p>\n<p>Visit <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/thestoryspotbookshop\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">The Story Spot Bookshop<\/a> on Facebook.<\/p>\n<p>Sophie\u2019s story<br \/>Sophie was a young girl who died of cancer.
