Working with ink and oil bar on paper, she creates imagined landscapes rooted in memory and experience. These works are an emotional response to fleeting moments in nature and the constant cycle of change, offering a quiet reminder of the importance of presence and attentiveness.<br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kilkennypeople.ie\/section\/361\/what-s-on\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">READ MORE &#8211; WHAT&#8217;S ON IN KILKENNY<\/a><\/p>\n<p data-atex-pstyle=\"PBDY_Body Text\">Ross Stewart\u2019s semi-abstract paintings emerge from drawn studies but evolve organically through process. Richly textured and layered with mixed media, his works evoke expansive boglands, moors, and solitary natural forms. Through earthy palettes and submerged detail, Stewart prioritises atmosphere and mood over representation, creating spaces that feel both familiar and elusive.<br \/><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/1000045333-1778251277873.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"947\" height=\"710\"\/><br \/>Krisztina Rozanich\u2019s work centres on iron oxide prints encased in encaustic wax, exploring time, memory, and the cyclical nature of existence. Using the natural process of oxidation, rust becomes both material and metaphor\u2014recording time through accumulation and reflecting the rhythms of transformation inherent in all matter. The resulting organic patterns echo erosion and growth found in the landscape, while layers of wax simultaneously preserve and obscure, inviting slow and contemplative viewing.<\/p>\n<p data-atex-pstyle=\"PBDY_Body Text\">Together, the works in Of the Earth offer a meditation on land, process, and change\u2014where memory, material, and environment converge.
